Believe so, if you're planning on going for bottles I'd call first though.

 

Since Speciation started their monthly releases and Vivant stepped up their sour game, I honestly haven't been down there, or Transient for that matter. I always figured the FIB hype was about 'nilla and BBA stouts, anyway. Speaking of FIB hype, Neckbeard Nectar was still for sale last Sunday at Transient.

And for what its worth, the Arclight sour releases used to sell out within the hour. They were posting on FB later that day saying they still had bottles. Definitely call them as its possible they still have some for sale.

We have entered new territory here in MI, too much good beer, not enough time/money.

 

You're a year late on the FIB hype since they won gold at FOBAB last year for Kriek.
I would be surprised if they had any bottles left but I would definitely call to check it out. They likely have most on draft still

Lots of FIBS were able to get their bottles at The Beer Cellar Fri so I knew it would be much different than Buckley Day but the lack of people at open was pretty shocking.
I love that we have so many great beers available in SW MI but my bank account does not

 

Black Raz sold out super fast on Black Friday but the others hung around I believe.

 

they still had a lot of black raz as of 4pm on Friday. surprised it sold out same day.

 

That’s false. It was gone before 4 pm.

 

I was there around 4pm with a buddy, they had kriek, black raspberry, pear and mango in the little cooler to the left of the bar, and hail to the darkness in the back. Not sure on the exact time but it had to be damn close to 4. It was after the binnys line and a transient stop with a drink at the bar and I was back to Otsego/Plainwell at around 5pm with no other stops.

 

lol, then I must have been imagining things when I didn't see any in the cooler, asked the bartender, and he went in the back and said they still had a lot, just hadn't refilled the cooler.

 

I know they were holding some for society members but those available to the general public were gone before 4 pm.

 

still odd, because the bartender asked if I wanted a case. this was abut 410. I only bought 1.

 

We drove up Saturday around 3PM and got bottles of Black Raspberry easily (as well as Mango, Pear, and Hail To The Darkness) - no limit. Lots in the cooler, and yes, the bartender told another patron there was more in back.

 

I'm not surprised since they got 2 new big Foeders about a year & a half ago so the production seems to have increased immensely

 

So does anyone really know if there is any left as of now? Yes, I can call tomorrow, just wondering if there is anything definitive.

The most recent release, Magic Trait was about as jammy a beer as I have had from them. Whatever he is doing there, however he is doing it, he is producing some delicious beer.

The recent Vivant sour release, particularly the Cherry Basil and plain unfruited Nothing but the Funk, are both stellar.

 

Agreed on Magic Trait. My favorite from Speciation thus far. Was surprised to see bottles hanging around at Horrock's for a few days after release.

 

Horrocks still has a few bottles of MT on the shelf... FYI.
