In the past I have seen beer trades that were listed essentially as raffles, where someone would post some different beer boxes that would require donating money to some cause to buy a raffle ticket. Names of those that donated are then pulled out of a hat and the boxes are sent out. These are generally used to raise funds for some cause or another. A buddy of mine is setting one up for a co-worker that was diagnosed with breast cancer at 26, and we were unclear on if it could be posted to BA or not. I remember seeing them in the past, but it is more than possible that the rule has changed since then, as reading the trading rules seem pretty clear that beer should only be traded for beer.

Make sure its connected to a donation site that can be verified, and then request it to be pinned to the top of the page.
I would also caution that many states have laws that directly implicate charity gaming, including raffles. Granted, the chances of anyone actually seeking to enforce a law in this scenario is basically nil, but you may want to at least look at Iowa law (I presume that's where you are) to ensure you aren't flagrantly violating any statute.
It's not just law enforcement. Avoid using PayPal if possible. I did a raffle to benefit the Syrian Refugee Children a few months ago. Raised nearly $900, but one of the participants puts "Syria raffle" in the payment note. PayPal limited my account, reported me to the US government, and threatened to suspend my account even though all of the money raised was donated to UNICEF and I submitted all the related records to them.
We would not let a LIF charity post go if its cash going through a person. Its up to the poster to figure out a way for people to prove they donated. And how the beer gets to who. We ship beer all the time, the cash aspect is where the line is drawn. I don't even know how you did this here, but i would have cabached it … And suggested to look into charities.

This is a great example of a LIF charity - http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/2015-cf-lif.251037/ the cash is donated to a verified site, the beer is shipped from several different people who donated beer. Basically the guy who runs it tells who to ship to who, and picks the winners ( its a lot more work than that I'm just generalizing). I suggest you take a peek, even though its long you can see how it all evolves.The guy who runs it never touches cash.
Yeah, I learned after that debacle. Ran another raffle for the same cause and all the $ were donated directly to UNICEF by participants and they emailed/screenshotted me the donation receipt.
