Are the old stats dead?

    I agree. I love stats of any kind and I always enjoyed looking at my beer review stats. I hope we see that feature brought back in some manner in the future.

    What is going to be changed fron the way it is now? I was under the impression that the current 3rd part software was going to start as the basis for the new site.

    Don't really know. Todd's posts are pretty piecemeal about the plans so I've not seen anything that expresses an overall vision. If its been posted I've not seen it yet. The only thing clear at this point is that they have hired someone to do the lead on re-design and that person is hard at work. They may keep this Forum software and design to include, just because of how much work creating software for an online forum can be.

    You realize that back in Sep we updated the site and made this accessible from nearly all pages on the website? Seriously. They're literally 1-2 clicks away.

    Well, if you've been following the Announcements that we took the time to post you'd see that we're tracking all contributions on the backend and that we're currently in the middle of a major site redesign, which will include a complete overall of the way we acknowledge user contributions.

    To answer the OP's question: No. They're not dead. They're simply not being displayed right now.

    As stated in the past, all user contributions are currently being tracked. We'll be adding more too, and relaunching how we acknowledge/reward these contributions with the site redesign.
