I think this is a delicious beer that I personally rated very highly. I had it at a tasting event at Monk's in Philadelphia, for $10 a 6 ounce pour, and I only had it once, so I can't speak as to what age does to it. I don't think I would personally pay $25 for it - but I guess that depends on how you feel about the style.

If that's in Jersey though, I'd love to know what shop has such a great selection of nice beers. Care to share?

If you like that beer, yes. If you have an extra $25 laying around, yes. If you don't have an extra $25 laying around, yes.

I haven't bought one for a while, but those prices don't look too off (at least compared to stores I've bought it at in NYC).

I'm definitely a fan of the beer.

It is a really good beer but as you can see pricey (though the prices look reasonable for the general NYC area). Just wondering where in NJ you are seeing it? The shelves/prices remind me of a place in Hoboken.

I cracked a 2006 recently that seemed a little gritty and past it's prime.
Still a very delicious beer that I've enjoyed across the board in many different vintages.
I believe the barrels/blend they use varies from year to year but it's a nice dark sour that has it's own uniqueness.

Had an 07 that was great but fresh is just as good. Around $22 in ME so those prices aren't that off. One of my all time favorite barrel aged wild ales.

those prices are fair. the '06 was crazy autolyzed when i opened one last summer. i probably wouldn't buy one older than '09 at this point.

Well made; high quality; interesting. I find it worth the experience to pick these up when I see them. They are frequently on the shelves at some of the places in Los Angeles area.
