Depends on how many beers I've had :astonished:.While drinking at home is nice, going out is much more fun IMO. But I'm pretty young, I think age definitely impacts people's opinions on this

I'm a mix of an extrovert and introvert. I like being out at busy places and having fun. Big fan of people watching and once the alcohol starts flowing its a crap shoot on what happens, but it usually involves me not giving a crap about what I'm doing or saying to other people. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes that's a bad thing (just thankful that I'm a bigger guy than most people and for some reason they are afraid of that). But I do enjoy just staying in with friends and making a dent in my cellar.

" I drink alone" comes to mind -- Thorogood

I've never been one to enjoy the bar scene. Most people I know that drink, drink BMC and drink with only one goal: Get Wasted.

If I do leave the comforts of home for a beer, it's to camp and camp only. Aka Beercamp. It used to be a hunting camp, but I'm a much better beer enthusiast than a marksmen.

I've seen to many lives ruined or wasted from the choice to drink out, outside the safe haven of home.

It would be interesting to see if Macro drinkers are a mirror image of the responses so far, leaning towards extrovert.

Nothing beats that moment when I'm on the couch after the baby falls asleep and I have a glass of something good with The Gates Of Slumber in my headphones.

If I'm home in my town I prefer small groups of friends and good conversation...however, when in a new or favorite place, I turn on my Frank The Tank, put my proverbial beer helmet on and hopefully don't end up in hand cuffs, naked in public, on any fail sites, or referred to as that guy by more than twenty people...

Extrovert. The main reason I enjoy the hobby is sharing what I get and conversing about it, so I make it a point to bring good stuff to the guys at my bottle shop.

isn't an introvert someone who prefers to be alone, as opposed to hanging out with small groups at home? i'd think thats more of an extrovert, but hey i'm a not an English major, if were defining Introvert as someone more likely to drink alone or at home with some friends then that's me, but as many others have said what with a job, baby etc. i dont really get the opportunity to get to bars much so its hard to say which i prefer. interesting topic OP!

INTP here, but really I just hate people. Good thing my wife is into good beer, also, so at least I have my partner in crime.

Extrovert stuck at home usually because going out is expensive. I miss the no mortgage days where I could spend 20 bucks a night at a bar and not care.

I'm definitely a homebody in most regards, and when it comes to drinking it's no different. When I was stationed in Pensacola, I'd go out to a couple local bars every now and then with good friends, but it was always a bit offputting to me. Too many people, too much noise.

Now that I'm back on the civilian side of things, and have a young daughter, I've no time for barhopping of even social drinking. No qualms here, though. I'd much rather sit on my couch and enjoy a beer, pizza, and an episode of American Horror Story with my wife.

Introvert all the way. I always avoid eye contacts, small talk with stranger is painfully awkward, I could be Asperger's for all I know. I love drinking beer alone at home, or could be found enjoying a drink lonesomely at the end of a bar.

I (extrovert) enjoy being home with my wife and having a beer, instead of going out to a bar and having a beer by myself (introvert).
