No. I'll have one occasionally but that's about it. I'm much more into Belgian & German styles.

hooked? no but do love them , my problem is they give me wicked heartburn so I can only drink a couple before switching to something else.

I like IPAs just fine .. although I have found to like my own "hopped" pales ales to be more pleasant to drink .. with slightly lower abv and slightly lower hops flavor, bitterness and aroma. Pretty much a beer between lagunitas new dog town pale and stone IPA .. in between there. For example I just made a pale ale with 1oz perle for bitter, .5 oz cascade for flavor and aroma along with .25 oz falconers flight to go with both cascade additions .. then I dry hopped with 1 oz falconers and 1 oz mosiac .. should be just about right. Yeast was mangrove hacks M44

Super hopped IPAs make me fart enough to where the weiner dogs leave the room .. so I try to not hit the Ruination TOO hard.

Did anybody else read this in the tune of "Warpigs", or have I been listening to too much Sabbath??

Been hooked for around 3 and a half years. It started with Hopsickle Illusion and occasionally a Torpedo. Then I had my first Stone Ruination and now I can't get enough of them. I dream about finding them fresh and constantly purchasing them. I will have some Imperial Stouts, Strong Ales, Black IPAs, and Barleywines, but it doesn't compare to my love of IPAs.

No. I appreciate the style and do have one once in a while but way too many styles out there to get hooked on just one.

You're right, I should have said "I don't like Hoppy, bitter garbage that is being passed off as an IPA" but I was trying to be nice.

Hell yes!!! I do enjoy some hefe's and lagers and apa's..............But nothing compares to a good stinky IPA for my palette. I just love cupping the glass in my hand then taking a deep wiff of a stinky IPA then a big sip, seems like it makes it even hoppier. Have never had a IPA too hoppy. All other styles just fall a little or sometimes a lot flat after an IPA for me. Stinky beer rules!!!

While I love IPAs, I tend to make Pale Ales. My next one will have Nugget, Cascade, and Meridian. I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out.

Well I did now. It works, but it takes too damn long to read that way...especially waiting for the imaginary DUNDUNTs.
