I'm still hooked and probably always will, but I can't drink them exclusively.

I love them and they're still one of my favorite styles, but not exclusively. I've gotten more burned out on excessive and piney bitterness and tend to be more particular or picky about which ones I choose to buy. I've also been drinking a lot more other styles for variety's sake, especially pilsners, saisons, gose, and hefeweizen. The biggest game changer is that ever since I tried New England style IPAs, tropical juice bombs, that's all I want in an IPA, and since those are so freaking hard to obtain, it often means I'll buy a six-pack of another style instead.

I love so many IPA's. As someone who homebrews they are super fun to make and everyone seems to really enjoy them. I love all kinds of beer though. Stouts, sours and quads being some of my other favorites.

Seems like a lot of IPAs have caught up to the level where only the best were a few years back, making that "holy crap" moment a bit more rare. Maybe it makes it all that more special to have those great moments know since the "everyday" IPAs have pushed the expectation bar a bit further along.

So I'm still excited to sink my teeth into a great IPA, and in no way worn out with them but find myself needing to mix in more non-IPA stuff. Some diversions don't stray too far (DIPAs, barley wines, wheat wines) but I have been mixing in more pilsners, Vienna lagers, bocks of all shapes and such as well as a few Belgian flavors. And hey, it's July, so pumpkin beers oughta be out any minute.....

Yes I'm still hooked on IPA's. I tend to drink more IPA's than any other style of beer. Stouts come in second place, then in third place are sours/wild ales.

Yup, still totally hooked. 85% of the beer I drink is some form of IPA. Love them and digging all the IPAs now in cans!

Not hooked, but there are times I crave extensively hopped beers and I am happy to stock up on them until I get my fix.

I used to exclusively drink IPA's but have scaled back in the last year. I still drink them but now only 1 or 2 per session. Also try to keep it in the 6-8% range. I've been drinking more Belgians, saissons, and stouts.

"IPA" is such a broad term. There are all kinds of "IPA's" just like there are all kinds of "stouts." Some IPA's are true hop bombs with bitter, biting hop taste. Others have lots of tropical fruit. Still others seem to be more malty than hoppy. Because of this, I never tire of "IPA's."

I said not hooked...I'm starting to venture into many other styles and finding many I really enjoy..that being said, you stick a citra hopped bomb in front of me next to a (insert your fav highly rated brew here) and I'd take the IPA...

and then take you up on your fav too:grinning:

I'd be lying if I voted anything other than "still hooked." I enjoy most styles, but there's just something about a big, juicy, resiny hop bomb that I have really grown to love.

Considering hop forward beers account for around 90% of my beer consumption, I'd say yes.

Never really liked the American ones. I'd rather drink an American mass-market light beer than something that tastes like Pine-Sol. I'm not fond of the way the style seems to crowd out everything else, especially at the expense of my favorite imports. (Rather like I'm annoyed at bourbons crowding out all the other whiskies.)

There are a few that are reasonably balanced and drinkable. But generally if it says IPA and comes from North America, I'll have anything else, even if anything else is Bud Light.

Prefer British IPA's. The North American stuff is too citrisy and hoppy for my taste.

Yep. No matter how many different styles, flavors, colors/stripes, varieties I try... I always come back to the hop-slap that I want in a good, bitter beer. I'm a grown man with a full set of teeth and it's what I love. There.
