Wow, Arizona beer week looks awesome. I wish I could attend the Arizona Strong Beer Festival but my wife is running a race that day and I am her support crew. I don't think she would appreciate it if I F***ed off to go drink some beer while she's running 100k in the dessert haha...better to ask for forgiveness than permission right?
If you have the time you could take a trip to Flagstaff, another mountain town about 45 minutes away. They have a couple worthy bottle shops. You're looking for the mobil gas station right by the I-17 (often referred to as Majestic Mobil) and McGaugh's Smoke and Bottle which is downtown. Plus Flagstaff has ton of breweries, could always get some growlers. It wouldn't be hard to convince the wife to join you...the entire town is freakin' adorable.
