Here, pre-covid, there was a huge local-cenrtic market. You can make meh & people still buy it up. I will support the quality, but ain't kissing the ring just because it is from here

I like Crisis and Fossil Cove for beers in Fayetteville. West Mountain if you want beer and good pizza.

Out of Fayetteville — Ozark is the best, most consistent brewery. Hawk Moth has good beer that is different (things like Biere de Garde or a Sour on tap).

Where are you staying and we can talk about food recs

Driving to Little Rock next week, from Iowa. Anything worth pulling over to grab to go?

I'll be on 49 south and then 40. I don't have enough time or the right passengers to stop and have a few, but I'm always on the look out for some decent to grab. Love everything except sours.
    TIA and Cheers!

Thank you for the great info. In Rogers/Bentonville and Eureky Springs, what would you say are your top 5 breweries considering combination of quality of beers and tap room space. Thank you again for the help!

I like Ozark, Hawkmoth and Bentonville in that order. New Province and Bike Rack Brewing are also decent

Lost Forty and Flyway are both about a three minute detour off of I-40. Depends on what styles you like, really.

Edit: just realized you said “to LR” and not “through LR” like I’m used to. If you wanna hit a shop while you’re here. Colonial and Legacy have the best selection.

Yeah, the local uber alles sentiment carried (still does) some pretty mediocre breweries here.

I get it, but I don’t participate either.

Lost Forty's Outdoor area and the Tap Room are open. Seating is spaced out to encourage social distancing. I go there once or twice a week.

Rumor on the street is that the partner that left owned the recipes and they left when he left. I was not impressed the last 2 times that I was in there. The last time it was pretty clear they were not going to make it. Still hate seeing a Brewery close.

Given the not so lively posting on here, this could be one of the last posts of this thread. Ozark has another Hazy IPA out. Merry & Brite dry-hopped with Cryo-Simcoe, very drinkable, but nutin' Earth Shattering

Anyone tried the new Saison from NP?

I picked up a few of the east sixth leftovers at Liquor World, some are pretty good. Kinda stinks they are no more.

Also, just read an interesting article about a merger between Bike Rack and Hawk Moth. This could really elevate the Bike Rack beers. But then again they tried this with Josiah Moody and that didn’t work out too well.

2021 will see at least one of the guys from E6B landing on his feet and putting out some heat. If any of you got to try Void Cellars, then you know what’s up.

I saw it, but haven't been in a Saison mood lately.

I am way more into Hawkmoth than Bike Rack, so yeah...
