    Happy New Year, Arkansas!

I was in Legacy a couple days ago and noticed Pipeworks on the shelves. I guess they came in a week or two ago. I think there were 5-6 different options. Another win for the state. But then I was told Old Nation was pulling out. I guess the distributors over-ordered and then everything sat. (Shocking....) I'll miss Old Nation more than I'll drink Pipeworks.

I picked up some Pipeworks today. Also some Gotahold Daily Bread Dopplebock, a style I am a sucker for. Otherwise, I would pass due to their pricing

The Pipeworks I got was tasty and fresh. Enjoy it while you can. They’ll probably be right behind Old Nation and dozens of others who thought they could move enough product here to overcome the ridiculous licensing and arcane blue laws.

This state just can’t get out of its own way. I love it here, but damn.

Liquor store in Ft Smith regularly has some Boss Tweed and M-43 that is typically a year or older. First time, before I moved closer to Ft Smith, I saw Old Nation at said liquor store it was still probably too old and assume it is still likely the same few six packs.

They are also doing something barrel-aged based off of Solera’s Instagram from the other day.

Core had a couple of Black is Beautiful offerings, to include a Frech Toast Stout at the Walmart I went to today. My beer fridge is saturated right now, plus they had them at room temp despite empty slots in their beer fridge, probably were for Mich Ultra I'm guessing.

Looks like some interesting on tap offerings at Ozark this weekend. I will be there tomorrow if my plans work out.

Ozark's Chocolate beer keg blew 530 yesterday. They have a Hazy DIPA, a West Coast IPA, APA, and a Belgian Strong Ale with Raspberries on now

For central people, Blade and Barrel in Jacksonville has a bourbon barrel full of some stout they are going to release soon for their first anniversary.

They have a pretty decent black lager on tap now and a blood orange ipa. I didn’t enjoy the NEIPA they had.

Bentonville Brewing has a canned BA Deliverance Imp Stout out now. 12.5% aged in Bourbon Barrels for 20 months. First can I liked enough, I believe I will pick up another 4 pack.

A heads up, Bentonville Brewing's Airship DIPA is a COFFEE IPA. Read the fine print russ. Good news is it is a 4 pack. Not my thang. 8.3% ABV & 90 IBUs FWIW

    Maybe an Ozark Hazy IPA?

I am kind of drinking down my stock, going to Oklahoma in the AM. So, I've tried to restrain myself

Isn't BDCS normally announced by this time?

Anyone have any insider info on whether they are doing variants this year? I keep secretly hoping there will be canned variants, although BDCS is obviously delicious on its' own.

I am on a few of their feeds, nothing so far. The street adjacent to their brewery is an absolute cluster f^cK due to construction. They may be hoping that clears.

Same street or different street as last year?

Also, coincidence (I think not!) that I opened a BDCS 2021 before you posted this?

It's such a goooooood beer. It's thick, but not chewy. It's silky smooth. Really love this beer.

The Brewery hasn't moved, but not easy to get there ( not too hard though )
