Ozark released another Hazy IPA. I really like this one, Professional Passenger weighing in at 5.7% ABV. I am getting some strawberry & peach that really seem to work. Thier last few were a little too alike for me to get real excited about.

New Province Tropic IPA seemed a little too sweet for my liking. Will do a review soon

Those of you familiar with Dickson Street... Puritan Brews now has beers brewed in house. They are going to concentrate on sessionable beers. I tried the Pale 13 & it seemed pretty on the nose for the style. Disclaimer, I did try it after I tried a 10% bruiser from American Solera

Last Friday I went to JJ's Live to see a concert. They had a few of their beers on draft. The IPA was bitter & astringent and the Chocolate Stout was meh at best. Other then that, it was Mic Ultra & Miller Lite on tap. So mixed drinks it is when I go there in 8 days for another show.

The Ozark/Toppling Goliath Collab Hazy IPA has hit the shelves, pretty tasty; 7.0% ABV

This Ozark El Tio Mexican Lager is plenty drinkable, a little too clean & balanced for the style. Perfect for the next 3 months of outdoors drinking

Went to Bentonville Brewing last weekend. The BA Deliverance & the Imperial Version ( More West Coast ) of Space Goose were good. Space Goose on tap was the star. Their Bier Garten is awesome

An hour-sh from Bentonville, longer if the weekend & all the bikers are out. You will drive right by Pea Ridge Battle Field if Civil War History is your thing. The drive is nice. If you are going to Rogers, I will always say Ozark & Hawk Moth.

Went to Camp Taco a few weeks back. (Located in Rebel Kettle's old building.) Looks like it's going to be a spot for Lost Forty to try experiential beers. I tried the IPA, and it was decent. The Mexican Ramen was amazing.

Glad to see it is useful again! Their presence here is not great. They had a sales rep in Liquor World today. Nothing new or sexy in the cooler

I'll be in Little Rock again on Friday for the night. Probably going to hit up Lost Forty, see they have their old Pale Ale back after a LONG absence. Love the beer, wish they would bring back Bare Bones Pils again as well. Hoping to pick up a few six packs as I head up to Southern Illinois. The one time I was at Camp Taco, I really enjoyed it.

Looks like Lost Forty has a session Wild Ale/Table Saison in bottles as well, the last one I had from them was incredible, so looking forward to that as well. Didn't see anything else really new, but I'm sure I'll do my normal rounds. Which is Stones Thrown and Rock Town Distillery, unless someone knows of anything else going on?

I’m sure I already recommended it, but Flyway (to me) is infinitely better than Stones Throw. Their food and most of their beers are really damn good.

Blade and Barrel is worth a shot if you haven’t gone. Just 15 min down the highway near the Air Force base. I had a couple mediocre beers there, but the coffee porter was a hit. I haven’t been in a few months, but I hear they have their menu sorted out.

Funny, cause I have never been much of a Flyway fan. Probably need to give them another try one of these days..

Stones Throw is far from great as well (though I have found several I like), but I don't mind stopping every once in a while between Lost Forty and getting a bottle of gin at Rock Town

The gumbo cheese fries rock super hard. Those house made pretzels with specific sauces also rule.

Low Flock is far and away my favorite beer there.

@thewrongtone had a Flyway Peregrine Pale Ale at Fassler Hall. This was excellent. Will have to try and make an effort to go back to the brewpub. The Lost Forty Pale Ale was great as well, got a few six pack of that for the lake.

Haven't been to that one, been to the one in Tulsa. I certainly thought middle Tier there. Food was decent.

That’s fair. The Tulsa (or pretty much any other US town with a population over 75k) scene is way better than central AR, so I’m probably easily pleased.

I just ran into a guy in Walk Ons up in Rogers & he was singing the praises of the Fassler in LR.
