I visited Brood & Barely when I traveled through Little Rock for Christmas vacation...I guess its as good as anything to post about here.

Brood & Barely is in downtown North Little Rock, and it is Flyway Brewing's Gastropub/Restaurant. Flyway itself is just around the corner. I have tried to visit this spot several times over the last year, but it has always been really packed. I was just able to get a beer at the bar, but would only have one and leave cause there were no seats. Which means its a pretty popular spot ha. Anyway, I was finally able to get a seat on my last trip through town, and its pretty impressive. About 10 taps from Flyway, but they are exclusively available at the restaurant. I don't think you can get these at the brewery.

Their Hefe, and Kennebec Chips and blue cheese. Holy smokes this was a devilishly good snack.

Their porter and a big bowl of mussels, which were again great.

And finished with a Rum Barrel Aged Barleywine.

I have never been the biggest fan of Flyway's beers, but these were all above average and I would have them again. Though I think I still like Lost Forty better. Its still a really good and fun spot in downtown North Little Rock that I will for sure try and go to again next time I'm going through town. They have happy hour and food specials every day it seems as well.

I tried it at Big Orange in Rogers, but actually think it tastes better from the can.

Earlier, we stumbled in a place called The Goat Lab Brewery & Tap Room in Lowell, AR. The beers were okay, but we'll probably go back some time as they do wood fired pizzas there. Nice relaxed vibe, Here's a pic my wife took. My dumbass left my phone home by accident. The ugly F%ck#r to the right is your's truly. I had the Gingerbread Ale & she the Summer Bock. Both were passable.

Saw packaged beers from Natural State Brewing today, about 4 varieties. I will probably wait until I see them as singles.

It looks as if I will be working in Russellville AR next week....any breweries or stores close that I need to definitely check out or am I going to be located in a wasteland?

Better hit something inbound. I was so shocked that Jonesboro dry (or semi-dry ). A city that big. Makes me wonder why their cheerleaders weren't in ankle length dresses...

Well damn....I know TG is distributed to Arkansas and was hoping to be able to grab some. I will be driving a big delivery truck so trying to stop is going to be challenging. I was hoping I could just Uber to a nearby brewery or beer store....

Going through Little Rock tomorrow from Russellville...need some recommendations on places to grab packaged beer and maybe grab a pint or two somewhere...I don't have all day to drink but I could spend an hour or two somewhere and I'd like to take some stuff back I can't get in TN

Man, we really dropped the ball here. Colonial Wine & Spirits has the best selection for future reference.

Did you go to Ridgewood Brothers BBQ in Russellville? I’ve heard great things.

Last weekend the Mrs. & I hit a few places in Springdale. The Odd Soul bar. They have 20-ish taps leaning heavily on in state brewers, but some great National Brewers as well. Their Pizza is fantastic.

Also, the Springdale branch of Social Project Brewing, compare favorably to the Mothership in Bentonville. I will get these added to the data base at some point.

I just picked up their Imperial Pastry Stout at Liquor World today. It was nice on draft 5 days ago
