Today at the store I spotted a new brewery from Rogers; Green House Ales. There was at least 5 different canned offerings. All pretty pricey. No singles for sale. They are very proud of them price wise for new to the market. I'll have to do more research before forking over Tree House prices for ???s

It seems like they are going for a Fonta Flora Botanical slant. Good luck to them

That blows. I'm usually good for a few 4-packs. I'm going to be up there next week for work. I may have time to slide by the brewery during the day. Is it out yet?

Yes. That may be a marketing move to prop up the brew tap, was told limited yield. They've at least been throwing some better/more interesting on tap offerings in the winter & a lot offered in not exactly cheap crowlers, FWIW.

Okay went to Social Project today, still well worth the visit. Some good one offs in bottles & on draft.

The first Greenhouse Ale Works beer that tried is good, but not even close to cheap. A fieldtrip to the source needs to happen soon.

Is this the place with the former Ozark brewer? If so, a pink-colored can of something kettle soured showed up at the Baba Yaga party, and it was pretty good. In my old age, I can't read labels anymore without cheaters, and I usually forget to use them/bring them.

His ties are to Social Project as I've been told, but that could also be true

Was Green House the spot that was closed a while due to the tornado?

More research is needed on Green House. I tried to find it and as far as I can tell they production only. I drove up to the place they were going to use. Abandoned pretty much, Tornado damage on some of the building.

Also stopped at New Providence Brewing, yawn. Not one off on tap. :cold_sweat:

We were in Fayetteville last week.

Went to Orthodox on a just about perfect spring day. Lots of kids, food truck, great beer.

We stopped into Columbus House for the first time after driving by a bunch of times. Had an APA and a pineapple sour. Both solid. Great rooftop deck overlooking the creek/Razorback Greenway. Will definitely go back.

Also made a quick stop at Crisis, which is probably my favorite in the area, just edging out Orthodox. They're planning a new brewery/taproom on the same site as the current spot; staying open throughout.

May have to check out that deck at Columbus House. Been a while. I read about the new location for Crisis, good move for them.

Heard about a new to me be brewery in Highfill ( Near XNA Airport\Bentonville ) called Black Howler Beer Co. Appears to be Veteran Owned. Been opened for well over a year & my Wife had to clue me in. A field trip will happen soon!

Okay field trip report. Black Howler Beer Co. is in Gentry. 16 beers on tap, running the gauntlet from Lagers to IPAs to Baltic Porter & Tripels. Really nice lay out. No food truck at lunch. There is a passible Tex/Mex place 100 yards away max. If near the airport, give it a go. They do to go crowlers

Will be visiting the Bentonville area (and then Hot Springs) for vacation with my wife and some friends next week. My buddy and I mountain bike so that is the main reason we are coming to the area, but will be on the lookout for good breweries to check out. Been reading through the last couple years of the Arkansas threads, so thanks to @russpowell and others that have posted info.

General question - can Arkansas breweries also serve other non-beer alcoholic beverages?

My wife is a non-beer drinker, and in Pennsylvania breweries are allow to serve PA made hard cider and wine and spirits, which is nice as it always gives her other options.
