I went to the one on rand road over the weekend I was shocked they were still in business. The shelves were nearly empty. Either everyone bought all their stuff before the 4th or they will be out of business real soon.

 

In Palatine? Yeah, I stopped there a month or so ago. Absolutely bare then, too, so it's not due to the holiday.

 

Another weird little place that sometimes has cool stuff on tap or squirreled away in the back is Tuscan Market in downtown AH. Hit or miss for sure and it's more of a wine shop but it's sometimes worth a look.

 

I think they very recently just restocked all four of their stores- they also have help wanted signs out. I have no clue as to what happened; probably money-related (bankruptcy or sold the chain to somebody else).
