I Managed to get some bottles, but realised I am not that familiar with gueuzes. I have had servings of them, just never owned them. Here are my questions

How long can they cellar for?
    Upright or laydown?

    Thanks

No one knows which side beer should be aged on, most likely because it doesn't make a damn difference. Do whatever's easiest with your bottles.

Oh shit Stu. You're fucked. All those gueuze and lambic bottles you have lying horizontal in your cellar might as well be used for cooking pasta now.

So, they can cellar for a very long time and should be stored upright. Got it

Some prefer to age lambic on their side to prevent the cork from drying out (This is how bottles are stored at Cantillon). Good enough for Jean, good enough for me.

When this occurs, BM for a trade. I'd love a couple bottles.

For what its worth, I was once told by a good source that laying the bottles on their side gives the sediment more surface area to continue working with the beer so if you're aging long term that is the best way.

Once I figure out how to ship across the border with no fear of losing anything, we can figure something out.

We need to have a muling service out of major connecting areas (Seattle, Detroit, NY State, Vermont). US trader sends to that person, that person drives the bottles across the border, meets the CA trader, returns with beer, ships to US trader. Or, it could be worked with the CA trader doing the shipping.

Talk to tbadiuk, we've traded a couple times and his boxes always come through great.

I've traded to/from Canada before. FedEx and the proper way to fill out forms is all you need.
