@F2brewers what about Hommage? the description here says

"A blend of lambic beers brewed at 3 Fonteinen"

was that from old lambic he had? or is that description not quite right?

I didn't notice that on the bottle!

It's a good question for someone to ask Armand or Michael, but I suspect you're correct and the label is wrong. If he had extra lambic around for ~ 5000 bottle run, I think he would have put it into the Armand '4 bottles.

The 2013 version of Hommage was bottled June 26, 2013 I think? It was probably lambic from the spring of 2011 (just over 2 years old) and fall of 2011 (just under two years old) that went into the blend. He definitely didn't have his own brewhouse at that time.

It was thinking that it was probably fine for the 2007 vintage and was never updated...except that it does now have the Shelton Brothers import label on it and there's a US distribution label on it. I don't believe the 2007 saw US distro.

    Hmmm...maybe there's more to this?

Edit: There was a US label approval (see below) in 2008, so maybe it did see US distro.

to be clear, that's what the description on BA says...I would need to go check my bottle as I'm not sure what it says

That's the same wording on the TTB approved label (2013):

    https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonli...publicDisplaySearchBasic&ttbid=13322001000008

Click the "printable version" link in the upper right to see the label.

There's one from January 2008 as well that must be for the 2007 version. Same label:

    https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonli...publicDisplaySearchBasic&ttbid=07362001000112

So maybe it was just oversight.

Drank them all, just one Lente left, and that´ll be gone by Christmas.
Have to agree, Zomer was my favorite but only slightly more than Lente.

If you find one, don´t trade it. Close your eyes and drink.

Lente and Zomer are the two birds in hand, perhaps we should just drink them.
