Armanetti's -- gone

Maybe not the best way to phrase things, but I think Evolution has good intentions. It's not the easiest thing in the world to satisfy all of us. From my experiences they have a nice selection prices are about average and the help has always been solid. One post that wasn't phrased the best isn't enough to sway me away. Sounds like they are invested in craft beer and want to grow into a great store.

 

I haven't been to the Lincoln location but the Wicker Park location definitely jacks up the prices for special releases. Not to the crazy extent of some stores in the city, but definitely more than the average $1 or $2 above retail. Which has kept me from going back regularly.

 

i pop into the lincoln location once in a while because they have an amazing mixed six selection. of course, bottles and cans has a much better one as practically everything in the store can go in one.
