    This looks interesting.

So we know its got Double Bastard and Lucky Bastard.
Arrogant Bastard will surely be #3. So what is #4? Arrogant Bastard - Oaked?

This is said to be "coming soon". I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Hope this comes our way, but like NJ, I'm not too optimistic. I'll snap up a couple if it does.

I was hoping for 4 all new variations, or at least 1 or 2 new variations. A repackaging of 4 existing ABs? Not all that interesting. There is an outside chance we'll see a BBA Bastard instead of either regular AB or Oaked AB, though!

I think seeing Barrel Aged bomber in this four pack is a long shot. I've only seen BA Bastard variants in 500ml bottles and those are at a higher price point Stone's bombers.

    But we shall see.

There was some tease on their facebook page a few weeks ago that showed what looked to be a more "mainstream" design for BBA AB (as opposed to the BA DB, which I think were special releases?). I'm thinking it would have to be blended or aged only for a few months, but I think it's feasible for a mass market release.

It makes the most sense to me that the others would be regular and oaked to coincide with Lukcy's release. You get a blended bottle (Lukcy), and the three beers used to blend it.

This is the answer. You can't have an Bastard box with out the grand daddy of them all and actually tying them together is a great theme.

I can't wait. I love and prefer all of these fresh, and knowing Stone we will see a price break :grinning:

Wish Stone would come back to WI, but I'm sure it would sit after the initial return.

I'd be happy to buy Old Guardian, Double Bastard, and the occasional collaboration that is actually good. Probably wouldn't bite on the main-line stuff or 80% of the collabs, though. Even Enjoy By gets old after the 4th or 5th time it hits your market. It would be interesting to see if they'd move beer more successfully than Alesmith, Green Flash, or Coronado have done so far. I personally think all three make better beer than Lagunitas, but Lagu seems to be the only CA that really sells here. (Not counting SN in that equation).
