$15 is quite a deal. Guess I'll go to Costco tomorrow. :sunglasses:

Coincidentally, I found bottles of Lukcy Basartd today at Sprouts ($7.99/22oz). I have missed that beer!

Don't feel too bad. I paid the same here in Salem, Oregon at Liquor Outlet. Our Costco sucks for beer so probably won't find it there.

Got one today. 22 bucks for all that. I consider that a total steal. Lucky is 9.99-10.99 a bottle, and double is between 12.99-14.99 a bottle around me. Throw in the BBA and a regular bastard, and that price is seriously hard to beat.

Had the BBA Arrogant Bastard last night and was not very impressed. The hops were still very overpowering and it had a very bitter finish. The barrel aging did add some dark fruit, cherry and vanilla notes, but again, just too hoppy for my liking. Time might do this one some good.

You guys not in the three tier system get such screaming deals. In GA, box cost is nearly $16. Seeing it at $14.99 reinforces how shitty it is to deal with a distributor.

Don't worry—you saved the difference and more with that Bomb! price.

A big stack of these landed at my local liquor store. Not sure if I will buy one.

Yep, when I bought the 4-pack, I made sure to put away the BB version for a year or two. Was that the first one you drank from the 4-pack?

Someone expecting a lot of bourbon flavor would surely be disappointed, but I would expect any fan of fresh AB to love it like I did.Barrel seemed to really enhance the sweeter and fruity flavors, adding a richness I expect only in DB. A nice and spicy, fuzzy dry (barrel-y) finish.

I would be more concerned about people trying to switch out bottles myself. Hope the boxes are sealed.

While the price was right ($22 here in Boulder) - the BA was what prompted me to buy this - opened it tonight and it was awful. Not a hint of barrel, I didn't want the alcohol or calories so drain poured it (2.5 score). Must have been like triple used bourbon barrels as it wasn't worth the $5 to me, unfortunately. Pass.

Same here (Toledo). Drank the BBA earlier and close to finishing off Lucky. Lucky is fantastic but was let down by the BBA; either way the price is too good for 3 beers I love that I'll most likely buy a couple more.
