Has anyone else noticed the price of a bomber of Stone Arrogant BAstard going up over the past 6 months? At my local HT, it was $4.50 and is now $4.99. That's a 20% increase! Finding less expensive quality beers seems to be getting harder and harder.

I haven't bought any in a while so I haven't noticed, but $5 for a bomber still seems pretty reasonable to me.

When I first started drinking it, I want to say it was $3.49 a bomber at Harris Teeter. I remember trying it specifically because Dead Guy Ale had gone up to like $5. That was sometime in 2008. The point is, prices go up over time. It's still one of the more affordable craft bombers.

Yeah, I get that prices go up over time. But a 20% increase all at once was a bit shocking.

The prices on beer at Harris Teeter seem to end in either .49 or .99. If they're going to raise the price on something, it'll be by 50 cents at a time.

I'd pay that all day long without blinking. If it went from $9 to $10 then that might catch my eye.

Also, not sure if I'm doing this wrong but I get 49 cents as being a 10.89% increase on $4.50.

Closer to a 10% increase, definetly not 20%, so hopefully a little less shocking.
And Stone generally seems reasonbly priced IMO, $5 for AB seems ok.

They probably realized they weren't making much money on it at $4.49 and bumped it up. AFAIK Stone hasn't raised their prices.
