Arrogant Pilsner

Having it right now. Very nice tasty brew! Would buy again.

Just started trickling into SF specialty stores, so I bought a pack.

First thoughts: Good, but also surprising!

Since it was Arrogant / Stone, I thought the hop flavors would be really aggressive and in-your-face. But actually, Who You Callin' Wussie is more of the new-school fruity, but not bitter variety. (Maybe because it was canned back in June, and it's now 1st week of Sept?)

I thought it was a really different take on a Pilsner - still crushable, but with the new tropical flavors of hops nowadays. In my top 2 pilsners I've had, along with STivo.

I hope this is a year-rounder!

Edit: Interesting what people pick up. I actually don't like Pivo because I feel like it is too hoppy, or the kind of hoppy I don't like. Whereas I found Wussie to be way more subtle. Complete opposite of some folks.

 

Who You Callin' Wussie is my new favorite American Pilsner. I like it better than Prima, Pivo, and any other I've tried. I'm still on the lookout for some of the more traditional European pilsners though.
