Sorry, you probably get this a TON and I couldn't seem to find it... My bro just went to the local beer store and had them order wussie. Of coarse there was a debate over who brewed it. I have to ask, how are Stone and Arrogant different? Sorry for asking a question you answered a million times.

 

First of alI, I am a fan of Arrogant Bastard beers.

Second of all, your beer finder isn't really very accurate.

Third of all, when the hell is Who You Callin' Wussie going to be available in the Cincinnati, OH area?

 

So what is next under the Bastard brand? We need a proper Porter/Stout again....

 

We may be looking at the same thing from different angles. Ultimately, the flaw is still there and detectable, so it's not being covered up with hops. The perception may be postponed a bit, and that's all. So, in the end, that purported strategy doesn't do all that much.

 

This thread is cracking me up! Despite the back and forth 'debate', if you will, I appreciate the intellect that is coming from my fellow Beer Nerds.

 

Bastard's Minion, you are a true world class customer service social media guru! In my county there seems to be Arrogant Bastard in several shops 1 of which is to and from work so its perfect. Interesting though that they are being distributed in the 2nd and 3rd tier beer stores and not in the top 5-6 craft beer stores around my area...but who cares I found them. And the "Who you calling a Wussie" is found in the liquor store just over the county boarder about 25min from my house. Delivered just 3 days ago. Awesome info. thanks!

P.S. My local Wegmans still have Rothaus on the shelf but at 16 bucks a 6-pack that beer is a 'no go' for me.

LOL. I think I'm going to let Dr. Oetker frozen pizza company http://www.oetker.us/us-en/index.html (the owners of Radeberger Groupe, which is the largest beer conglomerate in Germany, and owns the Jever brand) represent themselves to Wegmans. I think they could do a better job than me.

 

That was an interesting read. What is your take on the performance of Oettinger across the three tasting sessions, placing at 2,5,7. Bottle variation due to batch, age, treatment in the supply chain?
