Arroz con Pollo

    My friend gave me his family's recipe, which calls for beer (and chicken broth) in the final mixture of rice, chicken, etc. He suggested "something like Dos Equis."

    I have some Molson XXX in the fridge -- do you think this should work? They're not the same exact style, so I wasn't sure.

    That would work, anything with corn and not much else. The XXX is sweeter and more potent though so you would use less.

    Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. I'm looking forward to this variation, since I made a kick-ass batch with just water last time.
