I was hoping to get one of these in the near future, was wondering if its really limited, how much they cost etc. Just not sure what i'd need to give up to land one.

    Thanks!

I picked mine up off the shelf about 3 or so months back at Bruery Provisions in Orange for $15.99/each. Midnight Sun has pretty limited distribution if I remember correctly...

I traded one for a 2012 Dark Lord and another for a 50/50 Eclipse Grand Cru. Good beer, very similar to Firestone Abacus/Sucaba. Hope that helps.

Agree with above, not sure on distro numbers but I believe pretty limited. I can't remember everything I traded mine for but did trade 2 for a Black Tuesday which I thought was very fair on both ends.

It's an annual release. I think it came out in January/February of this year. Midnight Sun only distributes to 4 states, so the release footprint is somewhat limited, although it did sit on shelves here in Seattle and in Portland for a while.

So probably be better to wait until late winter or spring to get one easier?

That's what I'd do. Send me a BM and we'll work something out for some locals.

Arctic Devil is an amazing brew and I was so glad to get my hands on one, I had wanted to try it for years and finally decided to try my hand at trading. Big thanks to BigE90.

    1 for 1 Surly SYX.

Also in the same trade1 Sucaba for a Surly SYX also I had been waiting to try but in my honest opinion the Arctic Devil was much better than the Sucaba. Hope this helps and the SYX was $20 dollars a piece.

Boise got 2x cases... I only picked up a couple of bottles... I didn't clean them out because I figured I would leave the remaining 10 or so bottles for other folks.

I know when a buddy was in PDX earlier this summer, they were still on the shelf at I would assume John's Market or Belmont Station (I don't remember). He called me asking if I wanted anymore... but I declined (like a moron).
