Im moving from Boulder to Arvada this weekend and am quite sad to be leaving some good shops behind. Anyone kind enough to clue me in on what stores I should be hitting up in Arvada?

None. Drive down wadsworth to mile high wine and spirits. Def worth the 15min truck. Guess there is applejacks too.

Total Bev on 93rd and Sheridan and Mondo Vino on 32nd and Lowell. But Mile High has more beer geek beers.

Really depends on where in Arvada.

If you are going to be near 64th & McIntyre, Mile High Wine Cellars is small, but has a good selection, reasonably priced and the guys are very helpful and are willing to bring in new items/limited release stuff. It's in the same parking lot as King Soopers.

While not Arvada, Verns at 44th & Wads has a good selection (also small). I don't think there is a sign stating you can go in their walk in, but you can and they usually keep some limited release beers in there.

For overall selection and shear size, I agree with knownfactor on Mile High Wine and Spirits and Applejack.

Also, Arvada Beer Co. and Yak and Yeti, both in downtown Arvada, are each brewing good beer. Yak & Yeti's food is very good and Arvada Beer Co. has 9 or 10 restaurants that will deliver food to your table. If you go to Arvada Beer Co., try Manneken Frites.
