New craft beer bar on 10th and 50th.

Sharing since I haven't seen much on social media about this place. Check it out!

Wow, that bar name is nearly impossible to Google search. Do you have any links?

Wow, awesome tap list. Pricing seems pretty reasonable for the area too, and offering options 25cl and 40cl pours for a lot of their beers is nice. I'll check it out next time I'm in the area.

Off topic I guess, but are the speedway variants so different from (or better than) the base beer that they are worth seeking out?

I enjoyed them both more than the base beer, although it's been a while since I've had the base. Vietnamese kind of amps up the coffee and chocolate flavors. Hawaiian has coconut and vanilla; I thought there was a pretty strong coconut flavor but the vanilla was subtle. Given how many kegs seem to be around town lately I'd definitely try to find them at some point, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm not a big coffee fan, so my favorites are the regular Speedway and the BA Speedway, which both have coffee as a complementary flavor. I found Vietnamese and Hawaiian to be much more coffee forward.

Wow, this place is just a few blocks from where I live. I actually passed it the other night wondering what it was and went to another bar instead. Good to know there is a new quality beer bar in my hood. That tap list is impressive!

Only on BeerAdvocate would you find so much praise for 20 taps practically dedicated to IPAs, stouts, and "sours."

Narragansett tallboys for $5 for all the non IPA, stout, and sour beer people....

Its nice to have another option in Hell's Kitchen besides pony bar and beer culture.

Looks like they just updated a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AsIsCraftBeer/

Great tap list. I assume this is because the bar is new. Hope they can keep it up. Wish I could hop a train and spend the weekend in the NYC.
