ascorbic acid in fruit juice?

    I was looking for apricot juice to put in a saison. I was SOL on finding apricots. The ingredients in this nectar are apricot mash, sugar, water, and ascorbic acid. Any reason why i shouldnt use this? it is probably going into a gallon jug with some of the beer, not sure if i want to put it in the entire batch

    ascorbic acid is vitamin C.

    A friend brewed a blood orange saison and it was awesome. Got 2nd place of 13 in our fruit/veggie/spice beer comp at our homebrew club.
