IMO Green Man, then I'd definitely expand to Olde Hickory, then Foothills. Actually OH and Foothills is much better.

Have your sister go to Appalachian Vintners on Biltmore Avenue. They have lots of local beers in bottle and a growler station. I was just in Asheville over Memorial Day and really enjoyed drinking Green Man, French Broad, and Highland. I did bring home some Foothills and Olde Hickory bottles as well.

Aslo, the Ingles on Tunnel Road, surprisingly, has a nice beer selection including some pre-filled growlers.

    Cheers.

The Vintner does not have a growler station. Just many taps for on premises consumption.

Not to say that they don't want one at some point, just not yet.

No place in NC really has a "growler station." The only places I've ever seen growlers filled are at the breweries themselves. I think there's a law that requires beers be filled in that brewery's growlers. Beyond that, you just have to get pre-sealed ones from beer stores.

    That is correct.
