Absolutely wonderful beer, as is every beer from them is. But when I picked up the bottle to look at the label, I noticed the IBUs say "Ask Jerry." My husband came up with the site eventually, it's a Twitter feed: @JerryKneeDeep Very interesting. Knee Deep apparently refuses to put out the IBUs, with the reasoning that IBUs don't matter. While I am torn on the issue of IBUs mattering, I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone here thinks! I rather like the mystery, but I also would like the answer. The Hop Deranged is a Quadruple IPA (It actually tastes more like a Belgian Strong Pale Ale than an American West Coast IPA). So I want to know which hops and how much of them they used to create this lovely little brew. I give the brewery full credit because if theydid tell everyone it would be akin to giving away a proprietary blend. But clearly they have thought this through because they practically beg people to look up the answer with their mysterious "Ask Jerry" prompt.
