So as some of you may know, I am a student at UH in the Hilton College. Next week is Hall of Honor and we have our Think Tanks, where people from the industry have a seminar and a Q&A.

These are some of the sessions.

    http://www.hrm.uh.edu/STUDENT-LIFE/Student-Activities/Hospitality-Hall-of-Honor/Think-Tanks/

I am attending a few and recording the ones I attend. The Texas Craft Beer one will have the owner off Duff Brewing, Eric Wagner from Karbach and the Owner of Mongoose Vs Cobra, with Aaron Corsi as a moderator, - Brewer of 8th Wonder Brewing.

I am also attending the Mixoligy Session- Kevin Floyd, Owner of Hay Merchant will be attending since he also owns Anvil.

Are there any questions you would like to ask? Anything I find Important I will ask and post what they answer. I will be posting the whole videos the day of or day after the sessions. This will be informative to everyone. I will definitely post the one of the Texas Craft Beer, would love to ask any questions any of you guys.

Ask how important the Cicerone Certifications are now vs the expectations for the future.

Asking about Karbachs slow expansion and intentionally stunting their own growth as a business model isn't a bad question. Obviously they have reasons and it would be interesting to learn some of their plans and reasoning behind them.

Find out why Anvil is such a douche-fest.

LOL at Anvil and Karbach's rapid rise to beer stardom, in the Houston area, could of been unexpected none the less, good questions.

You could also ask them, the importance of barrel aging a beer and out come it plays as in a brewery's reputation?

To clarify my question. Ask them the importance of a barrel age program as it relates to a breweries national popularity and reputation.

So these are a few I am asking for the beer Panel. I was going to include one about small batch releases and the hype, marketing strategy behind it but not sure how to format it . Any help?

Do you guys feel that the Cicerone Program is important and how do you feel about the Certificstes importance now vs the expectations for the future?

Is there a reason you decided to include cocktails into a craft beer bar, and do you think the cocktails take away from the focus of your beer program?

For Eric- What is the reason for intentionally stunting Karbachs growth and what are your plans for expansion?

What is the importance of a barrel aging program as it relates to a breweries national popularity and reputation?

With a large number of breweries popping up in the state, let alone in the city of Houston, how long do you think it will take our State to make a change for the better towards the beer industry?

I'll probably end up being "that guy" in the sessions I'm sitting in lol.

Other than profit, what is the most important thing you consider when brewing a new to the brewery style?

Ex. Your brewery brews your basic pale ale, IPA, DIPA and you are now considering a RIS. What factors in most other than cost and profit.

As a brewer, when it comes to barrels or any beer I'm apart of, popularity isn't my goal. it's creating a beer I'm proud of and the joy of experimenting. I think "reception" would be more appropriate and "popularity."

How can you say Karback is stunting their growth when they are at capacity and already years ahead of their finacial projections?

If you don't like Anvil, don't go.

Sorry, It was late and was in a few when I wrote it, but yes Duff distributing. I was gonna also ask for Duff what are some of the challenges when bringing new breweries to Texas and why the Texas market has a limited amount of breweries selling their product in Texas compared to other states.

And Funk, you can as long as you get there right on Time and are wearing a suit or you'll be denied at the door. I'm a have to get there at 8:00 am to get the seat where I can record lol
