Hello, all. I'm a big fan of estate sales and I try to find unique stuff whenever I get the chance. I found a lidded stein from House of Heileman and have a mystery on my hands. The stein is nice in itself - 10th edition and dated 1988. The mystery is on the bottom, where it's hand-inscribed "Last Hurrah for Phoenix Russell G. Cleary 1988". Cleary was the last chairman of Heileman's and presided over their acquisitions that made the company huge. In late 1987 Heileman's became a target itself and was taken over by a large Australian conglomerate. I've tried to find evidence of some sort of gathering in Phoenix at the end of the company, but have had no luck. Does this kind of thing appeal to breweriana collectors? I don't know if I have something special here or just a nice stein - what say you? Thanks.
