    Off-stout topic post:

I hit up the ALX taproom last Wednesday expecting copious hop burn, but was pleasantly surprised at how delicious Dunley Place was. Lazor Raptors was decent as well. There's room for improvement on some of the IPAs, but altogether, I'm happy to return and spend my cheddar here.

Looks like a ton of Aslin stouts are on draft at Churchkey right now.

They had an Aslin tap takeover at Churchkey and at Dominion on Friday.

How’s this batch of Astro zombie and stellar? Can’t trust these heads on untappd. The grasshopper and Cortes are drinking great for those wondering. Worth a can purchase. Passed on don’t dial after trying draft, and this batch of dunley was bad for me.

They have 15 to-go can options right now, with release dates going as far back as September. Jesus. Maybe time to lower prices?

Surprised to see Bale last into this week, especially given the once-per-year announcement on stouts and 8 can limit.

    How is this batch?

I think the $8 cans kind of limit themselves. $40 4-packs aren't something most people are scooping up on a regular basis.

They need to offer single cans in Herndon since you cannot try anything before buying. People would probably pick up a few extra cans of beers they were interested in trying but when you are forced to buy a $15-22 4-pack, it's an easy pass.

I'd call/email/message Aslin directly, maybe they haven't updated it cause there hasn't been anythng added or sold out since 12/7.

The fridge was pretty full with them when I was there today during lunch. Two racks.

They updated today, Bale and 18 other to-go options at both locations (not including growlers).

I think it's time, they have over 20 to-go beers available now with a bottle release tomorrow so they'll be pushing 25 options.

At least, to their credit and even detriment, they have release dates up on the website.

Like I love A Small Town in Ontario, but I'm not about to run out to get month and a half old cans.

I bet that 3 month old Pils is coming into peak form about now.

At least they are putting the dates somewhere cause they weren't putting them on the cans last time I made a purchase.

Maybe they should have never expanded.

Any feedback on this batch of OS?

With their perception of themselves, is it a surprise that they overestimated demand?

Haven’t had OS yet, but this batch of Champion of the Sun is fantastic
