I noticed that in pics from untappd but I haven't had recent batches yet. Weird.

Wow, thought I was crazy. You're definitely right, noticed with DO and MOK for sure. Didn't have pew pew but you can just tell from the pictures. They're definitely a bit of a step down from when I had them on tap as opposed to the growlers I picked up at Aslin.

But yeah check almost every recent batch of IPA/dipa that's been released on untappd. Pics and reviews are much different. Pew is literally an unrecognizable beer from its previous batch

Has anyone had an experience of an exploded crowler During shipping?

It wasn't damaged on the side, but towards the top it was just ripped off.

    Any input, I'd appreciate. Thanks

Going tomorrow, I'll see what's up, I think at least 1 if not all brewers were up in CT over the weekend, or earlier this week for another collab beer. Haven't been able to get over to Aslin in the past few weeks, thanks Fed year end, and business travel...

What time do you guys recommend getting in line for the releases? I am planning to head to the next Thursday release. I got another question; I am looking at their instagram picture, correct me if I am wrong, but the beer list on the left isn't fillable by Crowlers. The only crowlers you can get are the ones on the right.

It was crazy this Thursday. I showed up at 4pm and they still had both releases available and no line. It was like the old days when I could show up on a Wednesday and get the crowlers. I liked it.

Did they get their new equipment set up and increase production? Or has the hype/novelty worn off?

New equipment is scheduled to be delivered the end of November, thanksgiving week...then the new kettle will be 2 weeks later.

Small town and hoppy saison were released and I guess it's not as big a draw? They also have 10 or so beers on tap...don't think the novelty has worn off, they're still damn good in my book. It was steady all afternoon and evening.

We have a hockey game right near Aslin there this weekend, and was looking to drop in for some take away beer - since their website isn't shedding any light on the growler filling situation, can someone here clue me in? Are crowlers still the only thing they fill, and limited at that or can I bring a growler or two?

No growlers, they typically only sell pre-filled crowlers on thursday and saturday, however they are in the middle of expansion so they aren't doing any to-go beer at the moment.

Yep no take out at all right now. Will have bottles soon per their facebook post. Ocelot (which is not too far away from Aslin) has some bottles for take out and can fill growlers if that's your thing.

New bottle art looks good but I'm not excited about large format bottles. Price per ounce is gonna be sky high. But prove me wrong, Aslin!

Yep, I think their original logo is really ugly and I hate the decicion to bottle instead of can, but I have to admit that those bottle are really nice looking.

They are my backup plan, figured since Aslin was a stone's throw I'd give it a whirl. Looks like I'll have Aslin to look forward to in January than - be back up for a tournament. Thanks for all heads up everyone!

Those first crowlers looked like old-school 70's windbreakers.

Looks like from their posts yesterday that they've kept price per ounce pretty much the exact same. I know I was personally worried and am pretty pumped to be able to take Aslin to go once again!
