Aslin Beer Co. Releases

Has Aslin gone back to making super hazy milkshake juice bombs? Last couple times I was in there, their IPAs had cleared up substantially and the flavor and feel had fallen off ever so slightly. I miss the juice!

 

Yes, the Double Orange Starfish and Stellar Parallax made more recently were back to fully hazed excellence. It's true they aren't as good when they're more clear.

 

Anyhow know how the bottle release is going to work for mug club members?

 

Did you not get your email? It went out to 2016 mug club members this morning. We get early access to preorder bottles starting today. General public can preorder tomorrow at 10am. Looks like no more crazy lines which is good, but we'll see how well the Internet purchases are handled. Limit 300 bottles of each and 3 per beer per person.

 

How on earth does a general public pre order work?!

 

Presumably you make a purchase online and then go to the brewery to pick up, but I guess we will find out exactly how they are doing it soon enough.

 

With the holidays approaching, we know a lot of people will be traveling. In an attempt to streamline the purchasing process, we are offering pre-sales through Eventbrite. This is not guaranteed for future releases, but will help us evolve our process for future releases.

BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Starting Monday, 12/19/2016 at 10am for Mug Club members and Tuesday, 12/20/2016 at 10am for the general public, you will be able to purchase tickets good for up to 3-750ml bottles of Master of Karate, 3-750ml bottles of Double Orange StarFish, 3-750ml bottles of Neutrino Double Dry-Hopped, 3-750ml bottles of Johann Buys a Broat, 3-750ml bottles of A Small Town in Ontario, and 3-500ml bottles of Cocoa Mapalm. The MugClub members and the general public will be able to pick-up bottles at Aslin Beer Co tasting room during regular business hours on Thursday, 12/22/2016, until 10pm on Friday, 12/23/2016.
Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to either the bottle limit, nor the pick-up window and PROXIES ARE NOT ALLOWED.
**Any bottles not retrieved by Friday, 12/23/2016 at 10pm will be surrendered back to the brewery (NO exceptions).
** Please read the additional details below for further information on proxies and bottle pickup names.

RELEASE PARTY:
Your tickets admit you to a release party on 12/22/2016 at the Aslin Beer Co. tasting room starting at 3pm. This will be the easiest and most fun day to
pick-up your bottles. We will have all the release beers and others on-tap. If you've been meaning to visit us to buy some of our super cool glassware, you're in luck, as we will be releasing a new option in gold or platinum colors.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
In order to pick-up your bottles, you will need to show your valid photo ID; it must be your ID and the name MUST match the name on the credit card of the ticket buyer (i.e. only you can pick up your bottles; no proxies). Any sales that attempt to work around the bottle limit will be voided. Only purchase bottles if you are 100% positive you can personally pick-up your bottles within the pick-up window; any bottles not picked up before Friday, 12/23/2016 will be surrendered back to Aslin Beer Co.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.

SHIPPING:
We will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the Aslin Beer Co. tasting room during regular tasting room hours between 3pm on 12/22/2016 and 10pm on Friday, 12/23/2016.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Aslin Beer Co. reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

 

I'm really curious to see if they will still allow folks to buy on-site or if you can only pick up your online order?

 

Seems like it will be online sales only, unless maybe they don't sell out (seems unlikely).

Well that was a shit show. Sold out instantly basically.

 

Nice work sir! Looks like everything's sold out now. All things considered, I didn't expect it to go smoothly, and because I'm selfish and got what I wanted, I'll declare it a success! Sorry for those who missed out.

 

I was refreshing on all six of my computers and am apoplectic that their site couldn't handle the traffic.

In all seriousness, the widget did eventually load, but then crashed when I added the tickets to my cart. When I refreshed MoK and Double Orange Starfish were both sold out. Bummed, but whatever, there's always next time.

 

Everything except for Starfish dropped back onsale as peoples carts exprired. I just carted MOK at 10:40

 

I got back in but wasnt able to check out...
