Aslin in Maine

    I'm a big fan of Aslin and would love to try some on draft. Unfortunately, I don't see myself being in Maine to enjoy any of it. Hopefully some of you will though.

    Nice, hope it is there when I am in a few weeks. Had Master of Karate when in the area for a trip in northern Va. last year and it was great.

    Great news. Love just about everything I've had from them. They had a booth at the Summer Session beerfest and we all agreed they had the best IPA there (Which I think was Orange Starfish - that day was a it of blur, for obvious reasons).

    My brother in law sent me a tap list pic last weekend with Aslin options on tap in NY (Dunley Place was one). I am pretty sure a few have shown up in VT also, but can't verify that.

    Not NYC, was Hudson Valley and Putnam county.

    It was at Mule Bar ~ last week, but the kegs kicked before I got there.

    "Johann and the Giant Peach;"
    "Double Orange Starfish;" and
    "Mind the Hop"

    were the beers that showed up.

    Vactionland Distributing posted that Maine will get cans next year, as well. Can't find the instagram post now.. Have had a few on tap over the past few months (at Slab and Novare).

    I saw some cans in the Burlington vt area yesterday but the were canned in early October so I passed

    Had Bringing Sexy Back at When Pigs Fly in Kittery. Probably my favorite Aslin IPA so far in my limited experience with their beers.

    Batch 15 cans at Whetstone Station in Brattleboro. I wouldn't be surprised if there were cans at the Coop, too, since they always seem to have the same distribution but that's just irresponsible speculation on my part because I haven't been in to look.

    It's been consistently around on draught. I've had it at Slab and Novare, but I think it's all over.

    Double Orange Starfish was about as good as anything from Treehouse that I've tried. Had much more flavor than the standard hazy IPA and was so drinkable. Dangerous stuff

    I'm about an hour away from the place, and they don't distribute to MD. Does anyone know why they picked Maine?
