Any BAs hit up the grand opening of Aspectuck Brew Lab? Curious to hear any thoughts. I'll have to drop by when I head up to CT to visit my parents for the holidays.

Didn't hear about them, but am glad you mentioned it. Will definitely hit them up.

I stopped in Sunday. Nice little tasting room with a lot of seating for the square footage. I imagine things could get dicey in there if they end up getting a big crowd for a release—they don't seem built for that sort of thing. They had 4 beers on tap and I tried them all and filled a couple growlers. I would describe the beer as solid, but nothing mind blowing so far. All 4 beers (pale ale, saison, red ale, black IPA) had great feel, and were well balanced, but no big flavors or aromas making them memorable. Definitely worth checking out, but I don't know if they are going to be an "it" brewery.

Based on their relative proximity to Two Roads, if they can out beer with a different flavor profile that shows a little more creativity, they should be able to build a clientele.

I thought all their beers were very good, but for me the pale ale was top notch.
