Man, $10 is not really all that bad for such a small run. And Assassin is well worth the $20 per bomber. But if any of you feel it is too pricey... I suggest you just give it a go this one time and see if you still think that. I don't think you will.

Do they typically allow bottle shares (only been once - not for a release) or is this kinda uncharted territory for TG as far as a release??

They've already let it age for 1.5 years, seems like plenty of time to me.

I'd be interested if a little bit of bottle sharing is allowed as well. If not, we can surely get some ticks in at the hotel after. Alum, if you have an extra bottle of ZD along with that Coqui 900, I'd really appreciate it. Still have yet to tick that one.

Not sure, my brother. Might have to sell off a few ivory back scratchers to fund this. I'm going to look up hotels in the area in a minute. Hotel + bottle releases + too many growlers + des loines adventures after will get expensive.

 

Anyone else bringing any ZD to the release? I bought some extra Over Rated to bring on down.

 

If anyone from the Omaha/CB/Lincoln area is considering heading out for this release BM me. May be a fun road trip.

I suspect this is a question that we'll get a lot over time, and you're right to ask it, it is a legitimate question. If you wish to have the beer hang out for a year or two, you could. If one did this, we'd recommend storing it at refigerator temperatures. Our recommendations are simply that, recommendations.

These beers are being released when they are ready to drink. Further aging is always a risk that you lose the flavor profile that was originally intended, especially when done at an elevated temperature. I know this isn't news to anyone here, but it's worth saying.

I'd be happy to chat more if you make the trip, and if you do, you should bring more of your sours you shared at D-Day!

Technically, we're open until 11, but I'd recommend being there before 10 as 11 is closing time, not last call.

I thought I saw on twitter no limit. But I don't think its been mentioned on here.

 

Assassin will likely be 6-12 bottle limit. Working on details right now. More info to come.
