So what have you given up if you successfully set up a trade for one?

So what's the bottle count on this year's then?

Seen lots of people saying 7000 and lots saying 6-800.

Word is 1,400: 800 to distribution, and 600 to Mug Club, friends, family, staff, etc.

If they ever make 7000 bottles there will be enough for everyone to get a taste. I think if you want now your going to have to take it up the tailpipe. I think Yohann is spot on from what a have heard.

With the exception of a couple guys the Assassin FT posts seem to be reasonable. I get that ISO's are going up offering up $100+ of stuff like Bruery stouts, but I doubt those are getting done. As you can see above, I basically traded 2 Assassin for other highly rated beers more or less $4$. One was an ISO post and one was a FT post. I don't know what else anyone would expect. For Fuzzy I traded about 3x $4$ higher rated sours. For BB Flora I traded a higher rated beer of similar numbers at I think 2x $4$. I haven't seen many of those types of offers for Assassin, so everyone probably needs to relax and realize it's a highly in demand beer that is going to trade for other highly in demand beer.

Assassin 1:1 with DeGarde Archer, honestly though I only traded it because I have been looking for The Archer forever and I had basically thought it was out of reach. My trading partner and I definitely got lucky finding each other.

However, I tweeted Clark several months ago, and he said he expected between 2000-2500 bottles. I wouldn't doubt that TG held back a bunch of bottles, or put some in kegs.

A significant amount went into kegs last year, for fests and other special tappings, so I'd assume that was the case again this year.

So....Hommage b2 will NOT land a '14 Assassin in all likelihood? or am I in the neighborhood, perhaps right around the corner?

this beer is the best evidence I've ever seen of beer trading on rarity over taste.

    rAvg Assassin: 4.58
    rAvg BCBS: 4.58

and yet to acquire a Assassin you'd probably need to trade like 40 BCBS. completely irrational, but tickers gotta tick

TG is the new Hill Farmstead, nothing but liquid gold coming out of there.

The new twenty year pappy barrel version might taste better than 4.58.
    Someone should send me one.
