Yeah, it's an old Asian market. They've completely redone everything. Looks to be pretty close. Looks like there is some money behind it for sure.
How 'bout that. Ex Novo's location in Beaverton is going to serve Detroit-style pizza too*. And prior to hearing about Ex Novo, I had no idea that Detroit-style pizza was a thing. (*The latest date I've heard is "the end of the month," but considering how many delays they've already had, I'm not counting on it.)
Apparently more than just really close now: https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...brewery-void-on-se-foster-in-portland.609547/
I will second this, but I suggest going on Tuesday instead because it's less busy. (Detroit style pizza is Tuesday and Saturday only). Ranch on Dekum is also a Detroit style pizza place but I haven't been there. Less than a mile down from Breakside.
Really, only 2 days? Isn't the pizza the big draw of the place? Even their sign says Detroit style pizza.
Are you sure you're thinking of East Glisan Pizza? http://www.eastglisan.com/ Their sign doesn't say Detroit Style Pizza. It's just a thing they do a couple nights a week, but they're good at it. They mainly serve regular pizza.
Oh sorry, I didn't read close enough to see that you weren't referring to Assembly Brewing. I was thinking that didn't make any sense.
