I'll be making the drive from Pensacola, FL to Biloxi, MS sometime middle of May. Are there any spots near I-10 [10 mi. or less - the driver doesn't drink and isn't very patient at times] worth stopping at for a couple of craft beer lovers?

As a Biloxian I can say there isn't much going on in the Biloxi area. Crooked Letter Brewing Company just recently opened in Ocean Springs (right over the bridge from Biloxi, nice little art city if you're into that.) They do brewery tours on Saturdays I believe. There a few bars near by that carry their beers (draft only.) The Beer House in Ocean Springs I think is the best place to find a variety of draft only products. Also may be able to find some Lazy Magnolia (see below) there.

I'd suggest hitting a local grocery and picking up some fresh Timberbeast (if you're into Imperial Rye Pale Ale) from Lazy Magnolia. They're another local brewery a bit further west than Biloxi, probably 30 minute drive to exit then 10 from interstate. Their tours are on Fridays, offer samples and typically some music. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/10990

If you're looking to hit the tables or slots, all casinos comp while gaming, some have better selection though. Beau Rivage comps Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan, Goose Island 312, Sam Adams Boston Lager along side the mass market beers. I haven't been to many of the other casinos recently, but they typically only comp the mass market beers plus SABL. (disclaimer - biased opinion, but factually based.)

That's probably the best way to get the most out of Biloxi area when you're here. Not sure about the ride over from FL, my beer excusions are usually to FL not from FL. If you're in Pensacola, maybe check out McGuire's Irish Pub.

    Cheers in advance!

Thanx for the info about what kind of beer the casinos comp. Believe it or not, it's important to me. I've been to McGuire's in Pensacola. An amazing operation.
