So I'm heading to Athens for work for three weeks. Any suggestions on some locals brews or the ability to grab some other stuff (Cantillon) in the area? Also would be great to meet up with any Greek BAers. If you let me know in the next couple of days I can bring some US awesomeness to share.
Athens for 3 weeks *sigh* sounds great although not necessarily for the beer. But as a change of pace from the underrated wine, there are some places. I like Beer Time (see reviews, not just mine, on this site). Nice neighborhood and friendly, in any case. I also got my first taste of Septem there, too -- trying to recall if at Barley Cargo or some other hip, more cocktail-oriented place. Search the other listings for Athens, for a few more, but, please find more once you get on the ground, and report back here.
