ATL to Evans, GA - Bar/Store Recommendations?

    Hey BA's - I'll be driving from ATL to Evans, GA in a couple weeks and was wondering if there were any good bars/restaurants with a decent taplist you'd recommend stopping at for a lunch pit stop, as well as whether there are any good beer stores to stock up on some Georgia beers (and hopefully Creature Comforts in particular). Looks like the route will be on I-20 most of the way, but I'm willing to detour a bit for any great options. Appreciate any feedback - thanks in advance!

    Toast Wine & Beverage for bottles/cans, The Hive, Stillwater, and The Arsenal for taps in Augusta. Not a ton of other stuff heading 20 East.

    If you have the time, detour through Athens and hit either the westside or Lumpkin St 5 Points Stores. Check out their website, growler lists at both locations are awesome & you will be able to pick up plenty of CC. Or better yet, make a stop at the CC taproom after the 5 Points visit.
    There is Tip Top Taps growler store in Evans. I'm not a fan, b/c they are usually limited on the styles of beer they supply, but might be worth a peek.
    I concur on The Arsenal & Hive (growler fills) in Augusta, nice beer lists.

    Arsenal is a must, if they're open. Great list and food, ask for Frankie. For package, I'd hit A&M Beverage in Georgetown. They had Creature, Cherry Street, Wild Leap, etc.
