Monday Night Garage and Orpheus are both open on Wednesday and both good options. Neither has food. I think Orpheus has trivia on Wednesdays, that could be either a positive or negative for you. There's a couple food places nearish to Orpheus, but not that close. Monday Night Garage really has nothing nearby.

    I would suggest two places:
    - Torched Hop. Brewpub, does their own beer, very solid food.
    - Hop City in Krog St Market. You can get a beer or two, wander around and there's plenty of awesome food. Not a brewery, but have a huge beer selection.

Wrecking Bar for food and beer.

Agreed. Only reason I didn't suggest is I figured they wanted to try a different part of town than Porter.

Headed to the Super Bowl on Sunday, what kind of local craft can I find in the stadium?

Don't know if it's web traffic because of SB VIII or poor design, but the Mercedes Benz Stadium website was horrendous for me to navigate; slow and circuitous. According to it you should be able to find beers from GA breweries Wild Heaven, Terrapin, Sweetwater and Jekyll.
Maybe they'll have hand-outs or info booths that tell you where to get what, because not all beers are available at all locations.

An article (linked here) talks about a partnership between the Stadium and Wild Heaven (ATL Pale Ale - $5). I haven't had ATL Pale Ale but have had Wild Heaven's Emergency Drinking Beer, also available at the Stadium per the article, and it's a crisp, easy downer.
The article also lists Creature Comforts and Monday Night Brewing at the Stadium. I'd recommend highly Reclaimed Rye from Creature Comforts, if available.

    Enjoy the game!

Didn't see Argosy brought up in this thread, so I'd like to throw them in the mix. Was there with my family (two small children) about a month ago on a Friday night. It was busy, but we were seated immediately and we all had a good time. Nice draft list and a good mix of vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore items on their menu.

I was actually just talking with one of the bartenders at Atlanta Brewing last night about Argosy. It just feels weird for me to drive further than Porter to get to Argosy, considering Porter's beer list has been better every time I've looked. I've not been to Argosy though so not sure about the food (though Porter's food is pretty awesome too). But if you're in that part of town or whatever, that's different.

I do want to get to Argosy sometime, but every time I think about it... I just end up at Porter or Krog Street Market.

Thanks! I had the same experience on the website, found a lot of Bud, Miller, etc but little else.

For anyone near the Porter, go down the street to the Wrecking Bar Brewpub also.

We will be traveling through town with a 2 year old. How kid friendly are breweries in Atlanta on a Friday/Saturday afternoon? Thanks!

Monday Night Garage is quite kid friendly. New Realm is a restaurant so they shouldn't mind children. Orpheus has outdoor seating so it might be fine as well. Atlanta brewing is pretty large inside and nice and kid friendly.

Any decent breweries, stores, or bars on the West side? I will be in Lithia Springs for a night.

In search of a place I can pick up some local Saisons... Any suggestions?

Not much in the way of saisons locally besides Wild Heaven's White Blackbird. Not much Belgian at all really in package, but Wrecking Bar does a few now and then.
