    Hey guys,

I live in Chicago and will be driving down to Atlanta and staying there for a couple of days. I was wondering what beers I should be looking for. I'm planning to pick some up for dark lord day and some for myself.

    Thank you for any input.

Places >> Georgia >> Atlanta. Also, there are near-weekly threads on Atlanta. Here's one from just last week.

Thank you for the input, I will have a look. I was more looking for brewery beers that may be in stores/bottle shops that I can't find in Chicago as opposed to bars like that thread

The list is way too long for anyone to begin typing. Just like the list would be for beers in Chicago. I would at least narrow down your search criteria for style, bottle size, something, so the people who have all day to reply can give you something. You can also just google GA breweries, then backtrack from there.

Understood, looked up some stuff it seems like wicked weed is distributed there now. Looking for sours, ipa, and stouts. Love everything so its a bit hard to look for specifics but I'm still skimming through breweries in Georgia.

Think I'm gonna stop in hop city craft beer and wine and just go to town.

Hop City is a good place to start. Just be sure to check can/bottle dates on the IPAs, I've seen some older ones still out for sale (Avery Raja from 12/15 and 10/31/15 Stone Enjoy By come to mind, am sure there are others too).

Not sure if you're bringing any stuff from Chicago, but I might be able to swing an IP trade for couple cans of Creature Comforts Tropicalia and Cosmik Debris. Message me if interested.

When will you be in ATL? See my other message regarding Creature Comforts.

Orpheus has only one good beer. And that is Transmigration of Souls. And even then the last batch I had tasted off/different. Their "sour" beers are not really sour or anything worth while. Their stouts are ok (although they're seasonal it seems). I would pass except for TmS.

Brutal. I think it's personal preference. I enjoy most of their hoppy and sour beers. Whenever I share their cans, especially Atalanta, with people outside of GA they love it.
