Looking for some good suggestions in ATL, I'll be there the first half of this week and never really spent much time there. What are the bars with the best draft and/or bottle lists?hoping to also grab creature comforts and some Ccb among others. Thanks and cheers!
Atlanta has crazy good beer. Best beer bar is by far The Porter in Little Five Points. World of Beer is around and so is Taco Mac. Love Taco Mac. They have a great beer selection and good food. Best Bottle Shop for me is Hop City. I know they get Creature Comforts and CCB. A buddy of ours sent some Tropicallia and Athena picked up from there earlier in the week. Breweries..there's a lot. Sweetwater, Monday Night, Burnt Hickory, Red Brick, 3 Taverns, Wild Heaven, and I'm sure there are plenty more now. Hope this helps. Cheers!
If you are driving down from Kentucky do yourself a favor and stop in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia just south of Chattanooga. Beverage World... one of the best quality beer stops I have ever made
Just hit Orpheus the other week. They are making some great brews and their outdoor decks are a great place to spend an afternoon outside drinking.
Don't get your hopes too high for a big CCB selection. Most of their beers don't make it out of FL. You should be able to find some of their year round canned offerings. However, you should be able to find a good selection of Westbrook and Wicked Weed beers.
