I don't think the Revel is closing till September, is it? Don't know about the restaurants inside though.

I think Dock's Oyster House is my favorite restaurant in AC and they always have Shneider Weisse on tap.

They are closing the doors to the casino Sept 1st and according to the lady I spoke to on the phone at Mussels they are turning the lights off the same day and they are closing the doors.

I am not an oyster/clam kinda guy... looking for something with Steak or Nice fish

I've never been, but The Knife and Fork in AC I think is supposed to be nice. Looks to have solid reviews and has better beer than you might expect. Says they have Carton's 077XX and Southern Tier Pumking (bleh) on tap along with a few bottles.

I see you're from Texas. Are you flying in? Will you have a car?

Oh, and thanks for using the searchbar to resurrect an old thread instead of starting a new one.

Wingcraft at the Ac walk shops. Its across the street from the Tun tavern. Great tap list including right now Ballist Point Sculpin IPA. 20 taps in all. All really good craft beers.

Thanks that looks like a great place. I will be flying in Sunday but will not have a car. Coworker from our Rahway, NJ office is picking me up from Philly airport and we are both staying in AC till Friday. Since this is a company trip all cabs I need are free..

no problem I cant tell you how many times I have seen a new flying into Houston thread in the Southwest forums...

well thaks guys just few back last night and this was my haul.. I found the weyerbacher Tiny in a little wine shop in the Tropicana. All the rest came from Roger Wilco. I swear all the IPA's/DIPA's in that store were 2013 or older..

I drank a few beers at Firewaters but also tried everything on the tap wall at Wingcraft. Tons of stuff I have never had before..

Allagash White (had this on tap at wingcraft for the first time and loved it.)
    New Holland Dragons Milk
    Weyerbacher Tiny
21st amendment Brew Free or Die IPA
Round Guys Fear of a Brett Planet

I also picked up a 6 pack of Schlafly Dry Hopped APA at the St. Louis Airport when I was waiting for my super delayed flight..

Glad you found some stuff. And yeah, about RW. Sounds about right. Place has a nice selection, but so much of it is just so old...
