i hope to grab some Friday. What time should I get there to be able to enjoy it without waiting 2 hours? Right when it opens at 4? Can we line up early?

"For this year's blend, we have about 6,500 bottles (500ml/$20) with a bottle limit of six (6) per customer per day."

If they have a 2 hour line at any point this weekend, then those people waiting are really stupid. Having said that, Fridays are usually less crowded later on. Showing up at 4pm will ensure you have to wait in a line for bottles if that's what you're after, but getting drafts won't be that big a deal. None of it is going to sell out on Friday.

If I had a free afternoon, I'd see what else is open earlier in the hill country or hit PHP south first, depending on where you're coming from.

Yea, show up at around 6-7pm and you're line free.

I'd suggest more like 8 pm if you don't want to deal with a line or much of a line.

Of course it was gonna sell out! 8800 bottles last year sold out in same amount of time.

I wonder if they set a high limit to void a lot of the madness.

I think they do, and to just get it over with.

Okay so I'm gonna need a HUGE HUGE favor from a fellow BA here. I had the luck to be one of the Atrial Rubicite Magnum Winners and I'm just about to buy it for $75.

Is there someone kind enough to pick it up for me and ship it over to my brother in law in Los Angeles for the right fee?

I need to know by tomorrow please

    Let me know

    Thank you

I don't think they allow proxies for this.

REALLY???? On the purchase page after I enter the winning code, it seems that you can nominate another ticket holder from the winners info...

Also, on their instagram post, there were no rules initially. Everyone was asking for the rules (and if proxies were allowed) but there were nowhere to be found. I think they added them after a few hours of the initial post but I still cant find them anywhere

I don't think jester King has ever allowed trustees for anything.

My it's possible remark was in regards to what you posed stating they added it a few hours after. I was trying to be polite even though I was fairly certain they did not as they have never allowed proxies for this type of thing in the past.

Sounds like you're booking a flight to Austin if you want this bottle.

    "Absolutely no proxies."

"Please DO NOT enter the lottery if you are not certain that you are able to pick up your bottle!"

Your inability to read/follow rules took away a winning entry from someone who is willing and able to pick up the bottle.

I'm sorry but YOUR inability to read a post from the beginning is causing to write AGAIN what I mentioned earlier. I was sure someone would rush in saying exactly what you typed....

So here we go again... As I mentioned earlier, and as you can see on their instagram page, the link to the rules, or the rules in general, were NO WHERE to be found when they first posted this. Hence the 50+ comments and questions ASKING where are the rules and if proxies are allowed. Zero replies from Jester King on these questions. Maybe they added the rules later, AFTER I had applied already.

I have not wasted anyone's opportunity to claim this. They will be offered to other participants. Since you are so kind quoting from..the event page you might have missed this:

"If you fail to pickup your purchase in time, your order will be refunded and the bottle will be resold or held for future events."

The official rules were always available on the ticketing site, you just needed to click on the event link at the top.

Yes, the link they provided did not take you directly to the rules, I will give you that. I had to poke around to see when the pickup weekends were.

You can try to contact the brewery via email, but I'm pretty sure I know what their response is going to be.

"If you fail to pickup your purchase in time, your order will be refunded and the bottle will be resold or held for future events."

^ I read this as if you purchased your bottle but fail to pick it up in time, it will end up being sold at the brewery for onsite consumption only or held for a JK event, and will not go to another lottery entrant. The lottery winners have been chosen already.
