I couldn't find a thread for this one, so I just wondered if anyone knew when this was supposed to be released at JK. I saw on their FB page that they bottled it about a month ago and said it would be released around 4-6 weeks later, but I still haven't heard anything.

    Anyone got the scoop?

I asked a guy at the brewery Saturday, and he said it will most likely be released this weekend (I know, not much help). They should know they'll really upset a lot of people if they don't hold to their "4-6 weeks" comment. I would say it's a 90% chance this weekend.

Dang this weekend would be such short notice. I am really hoping it's the weekend after this one.

Weak sauce. Well, I am just praying it's the weekend after next. I have a stupid wedding in Fredericksburg this weekend and I will be there with my wife and little one, so I would only be able to get to Austin for maybe 1 bottle.

Have any of you gone to a release before? Will they allow people with small children to go through line? I will have my 15 month old with me.

JK facebook says definitely this weekend. Limit 1 per person.

You can hold your kid in your arms and buy JK brew at the brewery. Not a problem. Problem may be the heat for the kiddos.

Odds this lasts through the weekend? MVB was similar bottle count right? and it lasted 3 days?

0% MVB was slightly larger and this is the most sought after release. 3 p.m. Sunday is my guess.

How much of a shit show would Friday night be. Will I be able to go, drink beers on tap and enjoy myself or will all the bottle-chaser/traders spoil all the fun. Don't get me wrong, I'd like a bottle, but I'd also like to enjoy a bunch of it on tap (as I did MvB).

You'll be fine I think...Friday nights are always low key compared to Saturday and Sunday. Being able to get a few bottles is great but the best is being able to have as much as you want on tap all weekend. (at least until it runs out)

I heard rumors of infection, everyone should just stay away.

    Raspberries are stupid anyway...

    A.R. is WAY over hyped.

Not worth standing in lines risking heat stroke. Stay home and rest, keep cool.
