I saw those same numbers as well, which I found very interesting, but if you recall the point was also brought up in that thread that those numbers are extremely skewered since they count all of Texas as "homers" for AR despite the fact that some places in TX are 8 hours or more away from the brewery and have no vested interest in inflating the breweries numbers. There was also no distinction in the numbers between reviews of Blend 1 v. Blend 2 of Atrial (and they do taste different), making those numbers somewhat more difficult to interpret.

That aside, my point about only 2 of the last 10 reviews of AR being from TX was simply a response to the argument that AR is only highly rated because TX BA's are artificially inflating the ratings. The ratings might very well be artificially inflated (like you said, people often rate high, especially with highly anticipated releases) but I dont think you can say they are artificially inflated ONLY by TX BAs.

Fair enough. I probably agree with everything you said. That test was no where close to perfect. There are way too many variables which you already pointed out.

Fair enough but your profiles says Texas and you have traded it so I assumed you had a horse(more bottles to trade) in the game.

FWIW I did like the beer and gave it a good rating (3.5) but something snapped in me when I saw a cool 100 on the score sheet, that is just silly. Rose de Gambrinus has a 94.

    A 94.

    Think about that.

I agree, but I think over rating is becoming almost an epidemic around here. Makes reviews very untrustworthy in general

Generally beers are rated to style. Atrial Rubicite is one of the best raspberry American wilds I've had. I've had much better raspberry lambics than Rose de Gambrinus though.
