Planning to go check this new brewery out later this week in downtown Frederick. Anyone got anything to report yet? Brewery and beers aren't set up on Beer Advocate yet.

I was there on Saturday. Their beers are unorthodox (two grissettes on tap) but I wasn't impressed. The place has a nice interior and vibe and I hope they make some better stuff in the future but I wasn't impressed.

Didn't another brewery just open in Frederick, too? I believe it's called Rockwell Brewery and is over near the Family Meal on East St.

I believe they open very soon but not yet.

Sounds awesome. Frederick is quickly becoming the next Ashville (not sure about quality, but quantity perhaps)

Stopped by last night (and today I added the brewery to Beer Advocate, but waiting approval).

I think they have 8 beers on tap from my recollection. I had the Galaxy NE IPA and also their light Patersbier/Belgian Ale.
Patersbier wasn't that great. Just ok. My BMC friend ordered their Grizette and said it was fine and even ordered a 2nd (but he's a BMC drinker so take with a grain of salt).

The Galaxy hopped New England IPA (5.7%) was the real-deal for an attempt at a NE IPA and I was quite impressed with this one for a brewery that just opened. Most patrons seemed to be drinking this as I saw the turbid goodness in nearly every glass at the bar. Crowlers are $10. Pints $6. Also do growler fills.
